This weekend saw the announcement of a new High Elf team for Blood Bowl. Unlike many of the recently revamped teams, the new High Elf positions fit in perfectly with the old sculpts.

While the Lion Warriors are now more Blitzer than Catcher, the older sculpts highlighted the claws on their pelts quite well.

Since we’ll have to wait on the new minis for a bit, here are pictures of the old Blood Bowl team. For this color scheme, I really wanted to make the minis into something different, so I drew inspiration from the Lord of the Rings films rather than the old silver and blue (plus orange) of the old High Elf scheme.
