There seem to be few gamers indeed who cannot quote the majority of Monty Python and the Holy Grail word for word. It is only natural that the film has inspired a few different lines of tribute miniatures.

This particular group is designed to be a Blood Bowl team. Since it isn’t always clear what their positions ought to be, my client had me color code the bases.

Blood Bowl players will probably notice that there are too many of quite a few position players. This is really so that I could finish the whole set of minis- some of them will be rotated in and out for different events.

The film is well known for its grimy aesthetic. For this team, I punched up most of the colors to make them a little lighter and brighter (using some of the stage costumes as reference).
The Black Knight is provided with limbs unassembled. It was hard to decide how many limbs he ought to have, though it was clear from the start that he should not have them all
I am still impressed with Sir Not Appearing’s appearance.

The lighter and brighter color pallet really comes across on the peasants and squires. The film intentionally gives them mud colored everything
I’m still impressed by the inclusion of the duck
Some really on theme score and reroll markers
Naturally, no one expects the Spanish Inquisition
